I just received an email from someone acting like the Gmail Team warning me of new services from google. Here's the message:
As you know, Gmail is an experiment in a new kind of webmail, built on the idea that you should never have to delete mail and you should always be able to find the message you want.
The Gmail, together with the Google is creating new services for its webmail. As we have modified our database, we ask you to create a new password to your account. This process may happen again until Gmail become steady.
Some immediate services and implantation on Gmail:
Attached files through web with sizes of up to 100mb
"Autocomplete" implementation
E-mail grouping by folders, sender and dates
Integrated accounts for all Google services (eg.: Google, Google Store)
This update also guarantees that your account remains active after the all implementations of the services!
Sorry for the inconvenience. We hope you enjoy all new advantage features!
It gives you a form on the right to submit your username and password, and lets you change your password to a new one. It then submits to http://www.topdez.com/sg/index.php, which results in a normal looking google error.
wow didnt take them long to attack gmail, huh. Lukily they don't know english too well. You'd have to be pretty slow to think that was actually from google

Could you imagine there are people who don't know English at all? So those subtle linguistic nuances you noticed might not catch the eye of the one not so familiar with english as you are.
Or the people who skim through messages wouldn't catch some of the grammar mistakes made there. There is always a few who fall for scams like this. Hopefully it was nobody who had a lot of messages within their account.
