I like the sound the IBM Thinkpads make when you type. And that's enough reason for me to buy a keyboard.

i'm really shocked noone backed me up with the logitech wireless keyboards.
I think they are the hottest thing you can buy for a computer! I know someone else here has a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse and loves it to death!

I wouldn't have a problem with wireless keyboards if they didn't eat batteries.. I love the Logitech 900 bluetooth mouse, although I don't have one.

I know IBM sells a keyboard thats the same as the Thinkpads, but USB. (same footprint)
Here it costs around USD 160.. so... (I love my Thinkpad X30)

When I had a cordless mouse it cut off occasionaly after a long period of use. Trying to play online games with those is a pain in the ass.

wireless keyborad and mouse are useless IMO, cos u cant really sit 5 meters away and code.....so whats the point of it?
.
laptops on the other hand are better, i can take mine anywhere, and i do mean ANYWHERE...well no, i dont..within 400 meter range then lol...

If I had a nice projector (read high res/quality), or for some reason I move my monitor an excessive length away from the computer, I'd get a bluetooth keyboard/mouse.. but I can't really see a good reason to use a wireless keyboard at my "normal" res (1600x1200, 19" CRT)

...i dont really see the reason either in my 12" laptop, i am with qads in this... notebooks are the best.
I use a CRT monitor when i use my laptop in my office... I will buy a big TFT screen when i could afford it.
