And the Winner for WORST webmaster goes to...........

Post by JPlush76 »

Adult Porn Website Owners!

Ever surf a normal site or check your email and you click on a link and it turns out to be a porn website?

and everytime you click the X to close the window 10 new porn sites pop up?

Do they think they are tricking me into paying for their site? It makes me want to strangle their webmaster :)

I just had one that bounced back and fourth so fast over the screen that I had to ALT CRL DEL to close it. Very annoying, especially since I'm at work surfing

That happened to me... But I now use Pop-Up Stopper, it's quite good but it doesn't block all the windows...

heh, yeah that is insanely annoying. I use proximitron and agnitum outpost, but pop ups still get through at times.

Well actually, since Mozilla is all Beta-like..it's a little slow...but WHY...WHY do u like JS? PLEASE tell me what has corrupt you so! for I shall heal your wounds. JS is by far the WORST lnaguage ever. Reason:

It can do some kool stuff, but it does a lot of GAY stuff (like pop-ups)...so many SMART people disable it, therefore, what do u do if u have a big corporation that uses JS...but III don't have it enabled...OH NO...it DOESN'T WAORK! *points and laughs* hahaha- *clears throat*..so in conclusion...BAN JS!

later on, -Brian.

P.S. At least turn off pop-ups.

JS accomplishes many tasks that i need, so i think someone should just right a plugin that disables "onLoad='window.open()'", basically...the same thing as a popup stopper, just built into the browser

I think SMART people would download a 'popup' stopper if they so choosed... and SMART people would keep it enabled so they could view websites as the designer intended... alot of websites use it and if java is disabled the information given to the client will be much less than intended.

yea I use POP_UP killer but you still have to "program" it sorta. Everytime you get a pop up you don't want you add it to pop up killer and it never comes up again

navigation would suffer without javascript

The thing is, you shouldn't have to.
