OOOHHHH!!! Have fun my friend.
Luckily, I'm way up in Toronto, nothing ever touches us. Hey, did that house just fall down?

Yeah, and I moved here from Seattle. All I had to worry about there was earthquakes....and oh yeah, volcanoes.

See where the red line meets the coast of Florida? That's where I live in Gulfport, Florida. I'm less than a half mile from the coast. Ever get the feeling someone is out to getcha? Last news update they move that red line right over Gulfport and now say it maybe a catagory 3 Hurricane by the time it gets here. Been nice to know you all.

Yeah have fun, by the time it gets to me it should only be a tropical storm....hopefully....I've already had one tree hit my house this year, I don't want another.

Who would name a hurricane "charley?"
lol, a vietnam vet perhaps.
AND I for sure have nothing against vets (I know someone will say I am being negative towards them)
truth of the matter I attend alot of meetings to ask a few questions to some. Very interesting stories
sorry for going off topic, but I had to save one finger before I get bashed.

I think they maybe under estimating this hurricane because Cuba was reporting 124MPH winds. If it's aleardy a catagory 3 then it maybe even worse when it hits the Florida coast. I doubt if Gulfport will survive a direct hit from even a catagory 3 too many old homes here. One of my friends lives in a house built in 1921 after the last hurricane hit here. I'm not too much better off with a house built in 1959. The waiting is the worse part.

Yeah I agree. Jacksonville hasn't seen a hurricane in like 60+ years. I have no idea what this is going to be like. This waiting is awful...
