Google Search for website

Post by anjanesh »

Is there any way to see a site's 'searching stats' listed in google ? Im not talking abt Webstats. For example : xxx.com. I want to see the keyword names, their indexes search terms etc etc that is stored in the google db for a particular site. I know we may not be able to access the db but when I typed the site keyword in google it just showed the url. No description nothing. I've added meta keywords, description, author etc but still google keeps showing the url (and 'view similar pages') as as the result. How can I optimize it ?

This is probably because the site was recently crawled by google for the first time. Wait for few weeks and get as many links back to your site as possible. :)

Shouldn't take a few weeks. I say 5-10 days and it should have a description.

Also, you might want to do some SEO on the site so it's more Google/Yahoo friendly.

vlbjcas.com was submitted months ago.
Search vlbjcas now and you'll just find the link vlbjcas.com with other results - vlbjcas.org (having description).
vlbjcas.com is my site while vlbjcas.org is the college's official site
