falling off a bicycle

Post by phpScott »

Having not done any serious programming for more then 8 months  I am reliving the horrors of learning to ride a bike agian.
It's not that I have forgotten the concepts, like riding a bike, but keeping the balance and avoiding all the road rash that comes with it.

Got to get the hampster out of the coma and back on his little wheel agian, get out the oil canister to stop the sqeaking, and spend more time here agian to get the ol' brain working agian. :?

Life was so much easier when all you do is enter data and answer peoples hardware questions.

I can relate, in a way, but going a different direction. I have developed an auto-immune disease and Parkinson's is increasing at the same time. Either the processes or the medications (or both) are turning my brain to mush and, to use your analogy, the bike is getting wobbly. (That was pretty cool, brain hasn't turned to sponge.)

I think things will settle down, but meanwhile this forum has gotten really helpful for me in keeping the mind fresher.
