I wish it was MB. :D

Sorry I meant to add a 'p' in there before. So it's 1.5 Mbps (megabits per second).

512/512 mbps and monthly cost is 26 euros.

Please tell how (in)expelsive your connections are. Here in Finland the prices have gone down very much within a year (about half). Partly because Viestintävirasto http://www.ficora.fi/englanti/index.html said a strong word a while back and partly because of competition with ISP:s.
At the moment cheapest 256/256 line is about 19 euros and with HomePNA connections prices can be as low as 7 euros per month.

Do you have any signs of similiar development?

fastest i ever got was a little over 7mbps down, even though they say they cap it at 7...
usually get between 4-5 down on most speed tests

up speed is around 500-700kbps

using rcn cable, its about $50/mo

i would throw an absolute fit if i ever had to use dial up again.
