EU Software Patents

Post by CoderGoblin »

Hello all,

If you live in the EU and haven't looked at it before I would recommend you visit http://nosoftwarepatents.com to learn about how software patents could affect YOU..

Not really after a discussion here as that may cause flame wars (although I suspect we all would be of the same opinion).

I wonder how many patents this site would break ?

Regards
CoderGoblin.

This has allready been started to be talked about
viewtopic.php?p=141588&highlight=#141588

But it is such an important issue that it should be talked about and acted upon when ever possible.

Glad to see more then just a few of us are interested in the subject.

Personally I find that site ridiculously biased and a bad source of information. They made ludacris claims with no proof. There are plenty of secure, "good" programs made in the good ol US of A, where these software patents are made available..
