just curious what peoples favorite browser is, and why.

my fav is opera, but i almost exclusively use firefox now because of that web developers addition that you can get for it.

i started with ie3.
then went to ie4 but quickly switched to netscape4 (till 4.7)
then i switched to opera
then i switched to ie5.5 to 6
then i switched to mozilla7

today i'm using firefox :)

(offcourse i've also tried konqueror, nautilus, lynx, links, etc... but nothing that can beat firefox at this moment for me)

Firefox for me,
and as a side note, i'm very interested on technologies like XUL, XPCOM, XPIDL, RDF, etc.
I hope eventually more people will develop applications using those technologies.

Firefox. Open Source Flagship, beautiful in execution, powerful, extremely scalable & customizable and all for free! :)

If Firefox was a woman, I would get her to shave her legs and then marry her.

Started with IE 3, got sick of it, got Netscape 3, then Netscape Gold (the best Netscape IMO), the Netscape Navigator 4.0, then Communicator 4.5 and 4.7 (can you say crap?), the went to IE 5, IE6, got fed up with the vulnerablities and the overall crappiness, and jumped on the firefox bandwagon. Today, I use Firefox 1.0, and am very happy about it.
