I am puzzeling to find out what might cuase the problem

I have people saying they can not load up the page. using XP
i dont have any thing funny inside the pages.
What might be causing this problem.

I am making use of some javascript ( but when testing it by taking out that part of javascript it still wont load. )

i know a lot of people had a problem like this when they upgraded to sp2. google for "sp2 page cannot displayed"

i would ask them if your website is the only website they have this problem on.
likely they will say it has been happening on other sites too. you would think mybe they would mention that, but ive found many people wont unless specifically asked.

lots of people have spyware on the pcs. im kinda thinking maybe some spyware program broke when they upgraded to sp2.


i just had a customer on one of my websites telling me the pages would "load" and display partially but after a few seconds they would get the "this page cannot be displayed" error.

i checked my server logs and in thier user agent string it had some weird toolbars name added to it. prob spyware. i would check thier user agent strings....

but other than that, id check the headers your sending, and the character encoding.
