according to psoTFX's post
here :
...we plan on having Beta-1 ready to fly by late January to early February. Now, this may mean some things we wanted in 2.2 will not make it.

It'll be nice to get a new version out. From what I have seen a lot of bugs were found in the current release. Ones that were in earlyer releases just never noticed. I'm not sure if their patch fixed them all.

Fun experience: change their call to [php_man]error_reporting()[/php_man] to E_ALL... that'll keep you busy for a few hours. I found a few register_globals vulnerable bugs that way while I was cleaning all the warnings and junk out..

Imagine what the beta would be like with that set on every page
Once the full release is out it will be nice.

just for noting's sake, the version I did that on was 2.0.10. I haven't looked at 2.2's.. I'll patiently wait for them to release it.

I've been looking over the latest snapshot for a little while this morning.. it's a LOT better put together than 2.0.x..
