Is php on the out and out

Post by Burrito »

Seems like I'm seeing a lot of commercial web sites that were once php switching to asp.net.

I've only been working (seriously) in php for about 4 months now and I absolutely love it. I fear though that I may have jumped on the wagon a wee bit late as companies are migrating to asp.net.

Is anyone else seeing this trend or is it just my imagination and paranoia setting in?

Hopefully the latter...

the architecture you use heavily depends on what your needs are and the strengths of the languages. It can easily swing in differing directions if you change server softwares as well.. which may or may not be up to you.
