Ye' old general discussion board. Basically, for everything that isn't covered elsewhere. Come here to shoot the breeze, shoot your mouth off, or whatever suits your fancy. This forum is not for asking programming related questions.
I bet attendance at these conventions is way down from what it used to be. They haven't changed their prices much, and people are making less and companies are willing to pay for less.
Personally, I've *never* had my company pay for me to go to anything, not even in the same town.
This program looks good so I wish everyone interested could make it. Just to answer one of the questions about the registration fee, there is an early bird discount of $100 if you register by Oct 11th. Not sure if that makes a big difference in corporate accounting these days.
Anyway, you can contact me if you have questions regarding this conference: Monica Ortiz, monica@mktgevents.com. If you haven't already checked out the program, please see http://www.php-con.com. A Call for Participation and info is also on the PHP Forum.
