I don't like the endless conversations about '*nix vs M$', but i felt that this could be of interest.

I wonder who funded their study?The setups were hypothetical, however. Both were in the most basic configuration, an approach that some in the audience suggested may tilt the results in favor of Windows, which comes with more features.
Ford said the idea was to represent what an average system administrator may do, as opposed to a "wizard" who could take extra steps to provide plenty of security on a Linux setup, for instance.

It's porbably hard to measure, but set up two default systems, give experts 2 hours each to harden the system, then let a team of hackers attack them both and see which one they can do the most damaging intrusion to...
