Data Recovery Clicking HDD drive in RAID 5 array

I have a RAID 5 x IBM 200GB array with huge graphic & music files on it.
I wanted to add another drive as one drive was clicking and was in fear of a crash amid rendering process.
I attempted to add an extra drive, I added the additional drive to RAID 5 array, gone through the setup and set the controller to reconfigure the current RAID 5 array to house the extra drive. Then controller crashed and the reconfiguration failed.
Is there any chance to extract the data on the current array by reinitialize the RAID array and copy the data back, without restating the reconfiguration process.
I desperately need any assistance here.

I'd talk to a data recovery company. They'd be able to extract the data off, since it was in the middle of initializating new drives.

Next time a drive starts clicking, replace that drive, don't add a new drive. That's what the redundant recovery system is built for.

Thanks Feyd for your assistance, it was of great value.

Further to contacting 6or 7 data recovery companies, It was decided that we go for Unirecovery on http://www.unirecovery.co.uk

Within 72 hours, they have carried out an extraordinary task, by re-configure the RAID configuration, in addition data was extracted from a damaged drive with a faulty head and ball-bearing.

They also sent me digital photo evidence of the damaged drive components.
I paid as little as 1/3 less than the closest quote we obtained from other data recovery companies.
As Feyed mentioned, our mistake was in the way we used the new drive.
Many thanks for your all the suggestions.
