Blue Pumpkin!!!

Post by Chris Corbyn »

*moan*

Who is time managed at work by the (not) fantastic package "Blue Pumpkin" written in JSP??

*moan some more*

Grr.... I am, and nobody likes it here. It shedules me for lunch, morning break and afternoon break all within about 1 hour of each other over a 9 hour shift :-(

*grumble*

What was wrong a bit of human management? (Apologies to any managers who swear by it)

I not sure which package was used when I worked at a call centre doing 4, 12 hour shifts a week. I often ran into a very similar problem where my 2 breaks and lunch would all be done within 6 hours of starting my shift, and that was a good day. The only way I found to get around it was to try and get a long call then all my other breaks would be shifted back by the approirate time.

It was a real pain in the a** to have to sit and take crumpy customer calls for 6 hours in a row with no break.

Sounds like my job... it's kinda call centre(ish). I work in a remote IT helpdesk - pretty much dispatching cases off to field support engineers and doing RDT cases :-( Someone get me out of here :!: LOL
