Laptop Insurance

Post by zenabi »

A little off topic, but can anyone recommend a company for insuring laptops? I've just got a brand spanking new laptop and I'm reluctant to take it outside in case it gets damaged. I'm based in the UK and I don't neccesarily need international cover.

Any help will be appreciated.

Could you not get this included in your home insurance?

I think my home insurance covers my laptop, but only if it's in the house. Once I take it out, it's void...

I've found a few companies via google that do laptop insurance (like http://www.insureandgo.com/computer-insurance.html ), but I wondered if anyone here can recommend one.
