learning php...how?

i dont know about you guys but it is because of you guys that i have learned php and gotten the job i have now. every time i was in a jam i came (and still do) to this forum and always found help. if it wasnt for this forum i wouldnt know php and would have givin up a long time ago at trying. who else agrees?

Absolutely! I learned PHP from studying various books, experimentation and this website with no background in computer science/coding whatsoever. If it weren't for the help I received at devnetwork I would be seriously lost! I would never have completed my first self-assigned projects and would have given up. Thanks to all the help I've gotten here I've been able to complete other projects at work and on my own.

HAHAHAHA i remember seeing that post for the 1st time! no lies i remeber the submit/Submit thing and was like forget this someone else has this under control. glad to see you have become a good coder since then!

Yeah it's pretty embarrasing. But I was not joking in the slightest bit when I said that I had NO background in coding.

i didnt either, i wont show my first script i wrote (its too embaresing) but it did work! haha no we all started at the beginning thou.
