Hi Guys,
OK maybe I'll be slaughtered for posting such a question a programming forum but....
What do you all like to do for social activities on a weekend (or monday afternoon if ur a first year uni student

)?
I had a few mates around tonight and am i lil tipsy to say the least (hence the strange post). We basically been drinking my home made wine and listening to House/Trance very loud all night (many people will hate me for cuch things

).
Thing is... now everyone's gone I just wanna go out clubbing (yes that's sadly my scene... hit a few bars before 1 am and then into the clubs until about 3 or so).
What kind of crowd do we have here on devnet? I'm guessing we have a few alternative/rock type fans?
EDIT | Hmm... well I think I'll go put a pizza in the oven

Family Guy -- Got three kids and wife. I usually spend the weekend fixin my house, watching movies, playing with my kids, playing guitar, drawing/painting and going to church. And of course squeezing time for devnet and web development in general. This weekend I'm putting a chainlink fence in my yard. I'm a teetotaler -- so I'm always sober but not always serious. For music I love prog rock/art rock -- Rush, Dream Theater etc...

Like I said, I'm in the server box, trapped. Never say anything bad about OOP of Mcgruff will do the same to you.

I spend the weekend days with the kids, watching films, traveling London, now that its decent out, and time with my wife.
Night comes, I spend time with my wife, and then back at the computer..
Oh what a wonderous life I lead.....

I'm hardly touch the computer during winter and am pretty reclusive. Coding/partying, which are practically synonyms, happens spring/summer.

Sorry, its just you. I've made numerous jokes about his 1,000 line MVC, true OOP version of "Hello, World", with 50 unit tests, and I haven't yet been shackled to the server.
However, in my "spare" time, I already focus most of my energy on programming - which leads me here quite often without having to be shackled. I also enjoy movies, women, and travel - but I'd put programming at over 60% of my spare time (and its also most of my day job as well).

lets ee what did i do this weekend.
grocery shopped, posted off presents to my folks back home, spent 'quality time' with the wife, and complained how hot and muggy it was this weekend.
Usually quite nites in, trying to save money for that house purchase, and the occasional budget busting weekend out. No simpathy though d11wtq as it is self-inflected.
going to movies, or wandering around and people watching. You have to love summer in the (2nd) city
man i lead a boring life.

Family life does tend to lessen what you can easily do. Most of the weekend is housework, playing with the kids etc. Saying that it doesn't stop me going out clubbing when I can, my preference being Goth clubs. An advantage living where I do, is that the clubs I like are only on once a month or so, so the wife doesn't mind. Gone are the days of clubbing every Saturday in London till 7 in the morning and "losing" Sunday. Hate to think what my kid would do to me, to get me up at 08:00
Saying that I did go and see the new Batman this weekend.

My weekends don't start until noon - then it's usually 3 hours of me walking around in my housecoat. Then some gardening/mountain biking/basketball/video games. Food usually finds its way in there too.
