Hi I am new too PHP

Hello ,

My name is Steve. I am just starting out in the PHP world and very interested in becomeing a PHP Scripter. I know Intermediate HTML and I wanna go too the next level with PHP :lol: don't know much of PHP right now :oops: , but am Planing on learning, saw your little site and thought I would check it out figured I need all the help I can get and a Site Dedicated too PHP is about the best way of learning I can think of .. FREE learning anyway :p

I am also 13 if your wondering , I love Message Board/Forums I use Forums Software called ikonBoard , it is a Perl Based script althought they are in development in ikonBoard Php Lite :D.

Well there is just about everything I wanted you too know about me :) Also I would like too learn PHP so please any Suggestions on Books or Tutorial Sites around the Net PM me or post it here for me :)

welcome to the 'little site' :D

the way i learnt to start off with was to get a beginners book and read it all, and then to simply try it.
You need a project, something, anything, just a reason to do some PHP

the best way to learn really is the get your hands dirty and learn from your mistakes

Welcome to PHPDN!

I'm also 13. Before you post anything search the manual and google. I've had pretty big trouble with not doing that :lol:

Man, I wish I'd started learning this stuff when I was 13. Wait a minute, this stuff didn't exist when I was 13. Lucky kids... :D
