Don't rely on Valve :P From what I've heard, they were supposed to release a expansion for HL2 PC version about a couple months ago... But haven't even started.

bf2 takes place in the modern battlefield, it's also better graphics and stuff like that. Same engine as 1942 as I understand.

play bf2 demo most lunch times here at work, fairly good at it, just don't put me in a jet. Anyone seen the bf2 stunts vid they had on pczone the other day, they were firing tanks across the map and everything, well placed C4 apparently.

I'm a CS boy, but the BF2 video is awesome - I'm going to give it a try when I get my new PC in October.

You need a well versed computer to run bf2, have a look at the minimum requirements.

Hey guys,
new around here.

I'm still lapping up more BF Vietnam then I can handle.
It's a little bit demoralizing knowing that you are constantly getting wooped by 16 year old boys (no offense to any 16 year old boys in here)
Hows BF2 stack up to its predecessor?

I've seen a couple comparison articles and I must say BF2 is a much better game...

Links slip my mind currently so, as Jcart said, Google is your friend :)
