I am a conversational chameleon - I use whatever phrasing is common for the people I talk to.
It was interesting living in Arkansas for a while, and picking up a southern accent, and then moving to Florida. Don't even get me started on how I sounded after coming back to the United States after living in Saudi Arabia.
Fun at parties though.

My S Q L when I'm talking about the database engine.

Does anybody see any vowels in "SQL". I don't either. I tend to say My S-Q-L more than "MY-sequel" unless I my company gives me that what "what the hell is that look"....

For some reason, it annoys me when people say My-sequel. Its like pronouncing the FBI as fibbi
