I wish I could get back to that... for my 8 years of high school and college I didn't drink any soft-drinks, for fitnesss/athletic reasons....feyd wrote:I've pretty much given up on drinking things with caffeine, and most soft-drinks in general as well.

I usually don't do my designing sitting in front of the computer. My best idea have come to me while sleeping.
I drink a lot of ice tea but not an insane amount. About a liter an hour ... that's not insane is it? It's 95 degrees here.
I also have three windows open: editor, command line and firefox.
I perfer peace and quiet when I'm thinking or coding.
I also perfer working at night. No windows in my computer room. Can really lose track of time in there.

I mostly code in practically complete silence. I don't smoke, no caffiene, no tea, no coffee. I used to have some very soft background music. But that was because my last PC was noisy. Now with a quiet PC, I keep the music off. Sometimes I have a TV on to the side for the news, but that is also rare for me. Usually paper notes and my screen are all I have during coding. Otherwise I don't get much done per hour. Boring, I know.
