Seeing as WinZip is a mere 688 days out of it's evaluation period here on my PC I was going to register WinZip .. but then they went and made it free.

Phew! Saved some money there.

There are three posts in theis thread, and I am missing something in all three of them:

onion2k: Where do you see that they made it free?

Deemo: what is "ftw" ?

LiLpunkSkateR: where did the quote by "Linked Page" come from?

It sort of seems like I stepped into the twilight zone somehow.

They haven't. He's misinterpreted it - there's just a new free beta.

Deemo: what is "ftw" ?

For the world, I believe.

LiLpunkSkateR: where did the quote by "Linked Page" come from?

Linked Page isn't a person - he means the page that was linked in the original post.

Heh.

Okay, thanks for bringing me up to speed.
Now I'm good to go until the next time I get behind.
