aye when it is a NTSF Fedora Core can not recognize it and i can not use the drive on both linux and windows. it was originally NTSF but after installing linux i had to format it into FAT32 so i could use it on both platforms. now this was not my decision, i was told this by people i work with who are expierenced linux users so i dunno. any other sugestions?
well, you could use ext2fs driver for windows, as described here: http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/info/ ... workaround
ps: afaik, there's no support for encrypted files in current ntfs drivers for linux
