Shouldn't see anymore problems. In brief... I didn't have swap turned on and forgot about it. Mysql wasn't too happy :? I guess I look stupid lol... it's been running fine for about 3 months until boom :P Swap now on, DB running, forums active. This is actually only the project homepage and forums. The work will be done on SF so don't be panicking guys :P

this is probably to late but I just thought up the name paradigm. It actually relates quite a bit to this project.

Courtessy of Dictionary.com:
par·a·digm
n.
1. One that serves as a pattern or model.

It's nice, but it's a *tad* too late. The name has already been decided.

In terms of registering for the project on SF... it's going to be best to either

a) Register on the life-project.org forums and ask to be added there
or better...
b) Email the project admin "pilau" at the sourceforge email address

Providing usernames here are going to get lost in the mist of posts - this thread is now 7 pages long. Equally, most of the discussion about object creation/panning (early days yet) is going on on the life-project forums.
