1280x800 right now.. but on a normal display 1600x1200 minimum. Lower resolutions drive me nuts (can see the pixels too well).

Thankfully, I think we've passed the point where 800x600 is the majority, but its not quite such a small minority we can ignore them yet. Maybe in another year.

http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp puts it as high as 25% of users, which is definitely not a minority you can ignore safely.

I run at 1280x1024. I use a 21" CRT monitor, and I often change my resolution and font size to help improve visibility on various sites. I have visual deficiencies, and often use assistive viewing technologies. I won't go above 1280 until I get a bigger monitor. I have a second, but thats running my linux box. :)

And yes, I want a bigger monitor. :)

1280x1024 because it's a TFT flatscreen and low resolutions look like <span style='color:blue' title='I&#39;m naughty, are you naughty?'>smurf</span>.

On my old CRT I used 1600x1200 but have since got a new TFT which does 1280x1024 (1280x960 when in true 4:3)

I couldn't justify the extra £100 for a 20" that has 1600x1200 native :(

I go with the biggest I can get. My laptop and server are max 1024x768. I hardly use the server monitor, though. ;) My comp I use most of the time is max 1280x1024. All are LCDs.

I use 1024x768 WinXp /I.E/FF

Could I get anyone to check out http://villificnews.info and see what is displays as if running
something other then what I just mentioned?

As a (sadly but nicely).. newbie php dev guy..... i have no way to test my stuff on Mac/Linux based stuff
and same goes for security type stuff... so any help..... even if just resolution display.... helps
me greatly.

btw.... anyone who runs 800x600 should be killed anyways, same goes for WIN98.. :(

Can't please everyone, So I at least try to please 1024x768 I.E./FF since I can test that
myself :)
