Funny, right?

Now, watch it again - what is the computer game the kid in the background is playing?

I'm voting Counter-Strike. You can get a good view of it around the 1:47 mark - lots of rapid action and what looks like gun shots.
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.

If it is CS, he must be bunny hopping or something, surely?
He's moving extreamly fast.
That's why I was thinking Far Cry, because he could be in a vehicle.
It's definatly an FPS.

<!-- Edit -->
Completely changed my mind. It is Counter Strike.

Definately CS, looks like de_inferno.

You can see the player model arms and can tell when he is running with knife.

I thought I saw snow, so I was thinking of some kind of snowboarding game. I couldn't think of any for PC though :?

It's definetly a FPS, but it's definetly not counterstrike. Too much jumping going on.

Hmm...

[edit] /s/definetly not/definetly is/ :oops:

btw - it's cs1.x, not source.

Plenty jumping can still go on, aslong as you know how to do it right :P

And judging by the knife model being the old style, not the new, it's a version previous to 1.6. (I can tell all this just from the glimpse of the arm model - go me!)

If it's 1.3 or earlier, that was pre-bunny hop nerf :)
