Madonna

Post by Chris Corbyn »

When's she gonna retire? Or at least tone her image down a little.

She's getting to old to be waving her half exposed bum in my screen while I'm trying to eat 8O

In reference to her new video, from her soon to be realsed album "Confessions on a Dancefloor"

Apologies to any die-hard Madonna fans... I don't mind the music itself much, that's OK (sometimes)

it's got really good reviews from what I've been told but I haven't read any of them. I can't stop listening to Shy FX - Diary of a Digital Soundboy right now, track 4 (Everyday) kicks ass.

Grim [dot dot dot]... what do you DJ out of curiosity?

Ha! Basically, whatever I'm told to.
If I get a choice, I like to go with hard and euphoric house, maybe nudging into industrial house, but with pretty mainstream stuff like The Prodigy.
I also like Fatboy Slim a lot today, so I may throw in some big beat tonight ;)

Nice one! I like Euphoric House and hard house. There's a really good night club in Newcastle that opens until 4am that plays it all night. It's one of those really cool clubs with fancy lighting and the DJ box high up above everyone. Funky house gets me moving too, but if I really wanna dance all night to an interesting beat it has to be drum n bass, hence the Shy FX.

Oddly enough I'm listening to Prodigy as I type this... got a long night ahead. Off out on a bar crawl shortly (12 bars) followed by a club so I'm getting all giddy and lively to my music :D

I never made it out of the Bedroom DJ'ing with my cheap setup but it's all good fun... :)

Wish me luck for the ladies of Manchester! I ahvent had a *big* night out for a little while :P

EDIT | Wow... this thread went off topic pretty swiftly :P

EDIT 2 | Ohhh gross.... I just found a bowl of mouldy strawberries covered in cling-film in my (clean... no kidding, my flat is clean) flat. They'd turned to liquid but rather strangely smelt very nice and slightly alcoholic.

Technically you need yeats to produce the alcohol BUT it's not just yeast that can do so yes, if you want to do it badly.

I'm told (no joke) that pigs can eat rotting apples and get drunk from it. That's my geeky fact-of-the-day. I make homemade wine, 30 Bottles at a time and costing less the 70p a bottle... nobody dares drink it until they try and and realise it's nice :)
