Just curious

Post by alex.barylski »

But do the number of posts made on this forum determine your forum ranking...

ie: I see I'm a forum newbie...which...well with under 100 posts I guess I am...

But I also notice others are programmers, developers, etc...

If I am correct...

Can I just post several thousand messages about nothing of importance...and my rank with bumped up to the coveted master geek??? :)

Cheers :)

that is the way it works... We have been talking about another method for determining forum rankings but haven't come up with anything concrete at this point.

We're really restrained by phpBB too at the moment.

but please, don't go and post 1000's of meaningless posts :D

I'll direct you to the current information, although somewhat off-topic in the thread linked to: viewtopic.php?t=36598
