I have this same... condition... And It would be interesting to know how this is possible.Jcart wrote:Myself I mysteriously wake up 1-3 minutes before my alarm ever goes off. The weird thing is, I have to wake up at different times depending on the day :\.. my mental alarm is ship shape.
this is really much more widespread than you would think in your derams. ever heard of internal/body clock? this matter connected to that... when we start getting up @ alarm time, our mind kinda associates itself with the alarm time and we get up jujst before it... when I had to study I set the alarm on my mobile and always it seemed worthless since I would start getting up abt 2-3 minutes earlier than the alarm in 1 or 2 days... It's all normal human psychology guys, just relaxJcart wrote:I would be extremely interested in finding any research on this... seems this is much more widespread than I originally though.
And when I say I wake up a minute or two before the alarm.. I mean always.
Jam: Shame you can't get back to sleep.. I usually fall right back asleep and get those few minutes of sleep back
dang, i wish i had that. every time i wake up im in the middle of a absolutly amazing dream then right before the fantastic finish its like BAM alarm clock or somthing else. enough to make one never want to wake up, expecally since my dreams latley have been freaking awesome. i guess my dreams have been making up for my otherwise boring awake life.n00b Saibot wrote:PS: I too have got "can't sleep once I wake up" disorder![]()

My sleeping life is as chaotic as my waking life isn't. At one point in my life, I was sleepwalking. One night, I woke up down the street in shall we say, non-ideal attire. It was snowing, and I had clearly made it all the way down the street nearly naked, yet didn't wake from the cold.timvw wrote:I can't find sleep again.. On the contrary, they are the solid release that many people need to alleviate issues. Like my night terrors being brought on by excess excercise, I couldn't realize the connection and issue while I was awake. My mind needed a release, and found one.n00b Saibot wrote:Sleep disorders are shortcut to mental asylum...
