I wouldn't be offended if anyone did the same kind of thing with "translations" to Polish (edit: I am Polish). Since I speak multiple languages I come across this kind of thing all the time, even if people aren't doing it to be funny. Some words/phrases in a language sound like something totally different in another. I think poking fun at differences between languages and stereotypes about pronounciation all nicely fit into tasteful humor. (But maybe that's just because I've never had problems changing my accent to fit a language </brag>
