What is the difference between number of visits, pages, and hits?
Obviously there is a big difference.

Set Search Time - A google chrome extension. When you search only results from the past year (or set time period) are displayed. Helps tremendously when using new technologies to avoid outdated results.
number of visits- how many times the unique visitors came back (i.e., if it's more than unique visitors you migh tbe experiencing repeat business). pages- (pages served up.html,.php,blah)
and a hit is generated for every object loaded, i.e. images, pages, etc.
ah, no wonder the hits is so much higher than the page views. i was utterly confused.
