There's a portal?

But seriously, I come to the forums direct from bookmark, however I would still like the option open of the portal :)

i think if its going to be a problem to keep it, toss it. the forum index has everything the portal does but in a much easier to navigate layout. plus the portal poll always asks me to vote on the same thing even though i voted on it. it should not be there if i voted, annoying. other than that there simply is not really anything there that you can not find on the index. my $325652.00

I type in forums.devnetwork.net/index.php . Never use the portal. I don't like the layout. It pushes the stuff I want (the forum listing) into the margins, and keeps the announcements (which I never read :P ) blocking the entire body. Additionally, there is no indication on the portal page which forums have new mesages and which don't. I don't like portals at all actually, so I browse to the forums straight away.

I use the portal. 90% of the time I jump right to "New Posts" but I like having the easy options of going elsewhere (i.e. unanswered posts, read the news, check the current poll).
