what do you guys think is the best beer?
this has been answered (at least partially) by a lot of you already:
here are my pics:
#1 Uinta Walnut Ale (Seasonal)
#2 Wasatch Pale Ale (I think they call it 'superior ale' now)
#3 Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (used to be number 1 until they got super commercial...it honestly just tastes different now)
#4 Long Trail Ale
mmm...my mouth is watering! Too bad I don't drink any more! grrr!

By Newcastle I presume you mean Newcy Brown, which is rank!
Beer here is similar to what the rest of the UK people posted, it's roughly £2 a pint for draught anywhere apart from in town.
In town it's probably £3 a pint roughly. Bottled beer (usually imported), is about £3 a bottle in town, and about £2 out of town.
By "town" I mean in the central area of the city where the night clubs etc are, and £1 is about $1.90 I think.
Favourite beers:
Draught: Coors, Budweisher, Fosters, XXXX.
Bottled: Corona, Budweiser, Fosters Ice, Bud Ice, Coors.
Saying that, I like going into bars/clubs themed on countries (f.e. Walkabout to the UK people), and just drinking whatever imported beers they've got, they're usually cheaper and taste better
Whoever said they get imported beers from czech, do you get Bud or is just Budvar?

Hehehehe, see below.
Some of the beers mentioned aren't in the stores here... well, maybe Trader Joe's, they tend to have a lot of imports.

Wow! I can't believe how well known Newcastle Brown Ale is, even when you're not in the UK

You'd be suprised... I know a lot of people who love Newcastle. It's like gold over here, in my opinion.

The population of the UK consume more alcohol on a friday OR saturday night than the rest of Europe does in a week
Londonhas varying prices, from £0.80p per pint to £7.00 per pint being the best/worst I have seen.
