macromedia flex2

Hi just wondered if anyone else had taken a look at flex 2 and what your thoughts on it are, from what I've seen of it seems pretty funky, might actually be worth using as a developer!

I've had a somewhat cursory glance at Flex when it came out and at the time, it looked quite impressive (visually). I am not up-to-date on security concerns, but I would have some reservations.

For a big client with big wishes and eye-candy powerpoint presentations, Flex2 is great (and expensive). For everything else, I trust any developer, there are enough mature and maturing technologies out there which do not lock you in as Flex2 (or most other frameworks) do.
