Mozilla Firefox 1.5!

Post by Ambush Commander »

For me, upgrading was a breeze. Most of my extensions survived (notable exception was DownTHEMall... pity...) and now we have loads of great new stuff. SVG in site layouts, anyone?

heh

Yeah, it's been a breeze for me too.

I'm glad the two important extensions ( AdBlock and Web Developer ) to me survived okay and that I've had no issues with Greasemonkey either. :)

Not sure about SVG just yet on a production scale, though.

no issues with Greasemonkey
I don't use that extension a lot, but it broke for me. I'm using 0.5.3... is there a newer version?

More the challenge. Integrate SVG on pages so that Mozilla browsers display them correctly but other browsers degrade gracefully. Of course, not production, but probably is going to be a small project of mine.

You know, that's pretty cool. I'd ask for the source code, but it wouldn't be that helpful... ::laughs::

Greasemonkey has made my life a lot easier as a mod, particularly the please use [ php ] tags blah.. still need to get around to implement some more modetorial scripts to help automate some of the grueling tasks. Very powerful tool nonetheless.

Well, I was under the impression Safari was a Mac thing, so no Safari for me (Windows user).

By the way, don't forget to enable FastBack ;)

Did anyone find that flash stops working in FF1.5?

And what is FastBack?
