I don't think I'll ever be able to trust bread again. Wow.

If those mice managed to get into the dough, imagine what the hygiene's gotta be like in the entire bakery. Mice have no place in a bakery. Under any circumstances.

I've heard McDonalds puts some mice in burger meat... and you can't say it tastes that bad!

That reminds me of a film I saw years ago.
With Rick Moranis in.

"Try the parking brake!"
"Take off, the parking brake never worked."

Then some people tried to drown 'Rick' in a beer vat and he drank the lot.
Then I think he put a fire out by weeing on it.

Anyone?

That's extremely sick.

Punishment doesn't seem enough to me...I mean they fined them pretty much what it would cost to buy enough traps and rodent protection for your standard factory... heh :?

They should get jailed instead. 7000 pounds is like €10500, which is nothing. They'll have that evened out within a week.

Yeah you're right. Those are pretty huge companies as far as bread goes. It does conjure up very bad images of what the state of that whole factory must be like. Ack :x

The mice thing is bad. This is disgusting. They covered this on a "Jobs from Hell" programme two nights ago. No one checked the temperature of the oven before sending the guys in to fix the machine, and they knew that they wouldn't fit through the gap to get out on the other side. Its an old story but truely horrific.
