What's this tune? -- No music in thread (Smirnoff Vodka)

Post by Chris Corbyn »

Not sure if this TV Ad was only aired in the UK but I'm pretty sure it's where the tune is from.

The advert is the Vodka one with the Russian dolls being chased... there's a tune that plays behind it that sounds really Russian.

I heard a remix of it in a club in Manchester a few weeks ago and I can't find out what the tune is that I need to get :(

Any clues?

EDIT | I asked someone else recently who told me it's "Spitfire" by the Prodigy but that's the wrong advert.

Yeah it's dead clever that thing :)

Problem is I need to wait until I hear it when I'm out again if they happen to play it :(

The song of which you speak is called "Rude Buddah" by Transglobal Underground. The album is "Rejoice, Rejoice". Buy it at Amazon (or PM me for 'other' options).
