I'm considering
Typo3 for CMS on a current project. I'm just interested in hearing if anyone has implemented it before and if so did you like it or hate it?

I haven't had any personal experience experience with it, but I know that
Blender.org and
BlenderArtists.org use it, and they're pretty satisfied (I know this first-hand). However, they said it was difficult to wrap their heads around the size of it. Typo3 is huge. Because of this, it took the webmasters a long time to get to grips with it and actually set up the website. Typo3 is one of these systems that requires a lot of entry-level work at first and then it just does everything by itself. They migrated from PostNuke, which, as we all well know, is utter crap in most aspects. The PN site was defaced several times which eventually convinced them to look for an alternative. Typo3 and Drupal were the two main choices, of which the former was chosen, probably because it's very well though-out and apparently very secure.

Thanks for the tip foobar. So far I like it as well. Yes it's going to take some time to get my head around it. I've just started working through the documentation which is abundant.
