well I know its independent, but what about if people decide to run their server off of a windows server instead of linux? I know I have had problems in the past with both.

I'm running servers on both linux and windows. You can post MS specific question in any of our forums. One topic which has been has been discused here is the use of exec and running batch or exe files. Feel free to post any OS specific question you may have.

As for creating a forum dedicated to MS I really don't think there is a need :)
