Spyware Immunization.. is it safe??

Post by seodevhead »

Hey guys... I just wanted to ask if it was safe to do the "IMMUNIZE" thing with these spyware programs. I don't know if it sounds like a good idea to let some "spyware detection" program start adding stuff to my computer. Wanted to get you'alls take first. Thanks.

What do you think you're doing by installing it? Once a program is installed and you run it, the program can do anything it wants. So if you trusted it to open and scan your computer and "remove spyware", then go ahead and immunize.

Immunization is a fantastic feature, although I've only seen it on spybot so far.

Well it's not that I don't "trust" the software... I certainly trust it to be honorable... I was more concerned about it just wreaking some sort of havoc with my system performance-wise. I trust Music Match, but I sure as hell won't let it install all those dang background processes.
