PHP manual for iPod

Post by haydenchambers »

it would be really handy to have the php manual downloaded and compartmentalised for the notes section on my pod... anyone know a way to do this?

I'll do step one right after I save the world with my super php class as yet unreleased. (sounds like a descriptor for a teenager)

It would actually be extremely easy to do. All that would be required is convert the html versions into plain text, and rename the files to a text file, and voila.. download them into the /notes folder

I've yet to have a play with iPodLinux... Not too sure I want to risk it yet though (and the nano wasn't officially supported last I checked)... Ogg file support is a big plus though.

BTW, I'd imagine browsing through plain text files a nightmare on an ipod. You can't search like you can in a web browser.
