Yea buddy....I don't know how you do it...

That is a crazy amount of posts...

When I signed up at the codeproject, I was in competition with my buddy Nish...

I have long since gave up on that quest...

Well, he gets padded quite a bit by being first to mod threads with posts like "please use php tags", and "Please name your threads better", etc.

Notably, however, he also does many of those posts now inline - meaning his post count is even *higher*, because he does it in the OP's post.

My goal is to get into the top ten here. I would really enjoy being a top-10 poster, and not being a mod. I think thats pretty impressive, and shows a serious commitment to the community. :)

I can't deny that. However in all fareness, like you already said, many top posters submit brief posts, or atleast...make comments which do nothing but add their 2 cents to a topic...technical or not.

ie: "I agree with that ;)"

Heck even bottom posters like me post messages like that :P

I've accepted I'll never be a top poster anywhere...I simply can't commit that much time at any single place...I frequent hundreds of forums...so maybe combined, over the years I probably have in access of 100,000 posts...but at any single one place...the best I have is maybe a couple thousand

Ah well...

The early bird gets the worm, but it's always the second mouse that gets the cheese ;)

Cheers :)
