Yay :)

I actually never know what's with this "hacker" title. I mean, I understand that hackers are people who, basically, figure out how other people's software works. But what then? When everybody's speaking of people breaking into their PCs or into major systems worldwide they always speak of hackers. is that a myth? (sorry to take this way off-topic but this thread had gone off-topic already anyway)

That's a confused general public. Crackers break into things.... granted, they're also hackers but that's not the hacker part. Hackers just have an urge to understand as much as possible about code.

Personally I don't find it offensive when people refer to crackers as hackers... I even do it myself depending on who I'm speaking with.
