HD Setup
I'm planning to build a computer with the following setup:
2x 15,000 RPM 37gig HD with ubuntu linux using raid 0 - SCSI 320 [80 pin] - 16mb cache
2x 7,200 RPM 250gig HD formatted fat32 using raid 1 - SATA 150 - 8mb cache
What do folks think of this setup?
I would like to find a microatx mobo with SATA150 and SCSI320 [both with raid] built into the hardware, but from my searching so far, nothing has come up. I presume I'll have to grab a microATX with SATA 150 raid and then add a SCSI raid controller...

I'd get a compatibility list from the flavor(s) of *nix you're going to use, apprently Ubuntu. Since I'm not familiar with their hardware list, I can't really say which one would work well, so you may want to check with an Ubuntu user list or something. I do know they are making great pains to get compatibility quickly for many new hardwares, but 320 has been around for a while, which could be good or bad (likely good.) I would imagine their support for any of the Adaptec's is quite good since the company has such a long history with SCSI.
I cannot recommend a particular model as I don't work with SCSI drives anymore.
