Laptop for Work

Post by Todd_Z »

So my boss is thinking about getting me a laptop, so I want to check out the situation. Here are my requirements:

Full size keyboard
no OS installed
cheap.

What companies have you all had good experiences with when getting laptops?

Acer. Cheap, good, comfortable keyboard but usually come with winxp. I'm sure you could strike a deal with 'em though if you tried, or just get a custom one at your local computer store.

I've had good experiences with Dell, IBM and HP laptops.. although mostly the higher end ones, so not entirely sure about a larger one that's also cheap.. :?

Define what you mean by full size keyboard. The definition varies substantially.
