Andi Gutmans Podcast About Zend Framework and PHP6

Post by Christopher »

The good folks over at php|architect's / Pro::PHP have a podcast of an interview of Zend's Andi Gutmans by Marcus Whitney.

Of note is that a preview of the Zend Framework may be out in February and that PHP6 will be out this year -- mainly adding Unicode support. I was disappointed that he said at one point that the PHP object model did not need any improvement.

Thanks. I wasn't sure where to post something like this here at DevNetwork. If I see other things like this I will post them here.

The interview should be of interest to PHPers because Andi Gutmans gives a sense of where PHP is and is going from Zend's point of view.

I just listened to a whole bunch of the older shows. This is really a great Podcast and it has me itching for more web dev related podcasts. :D

I also just realized that a co-host of that postcast is our very own enygma who runs PHPDeveloper.org.

Much props, Chris! :)

I just finished two shows hosted by Marcus so I really can't wait to get to the others.
