According to Matt Cutts, BMW.de followed all the steps I mentioned previously, and has been reincluded after removing the JS redirect doorway pages.

Not only is google not a monopoly as Roja suggested, but there is a bid difference in that I can still visit the bmw site whether or not google is index it. For windows to stop firefox from working would destroy the users ability to access their webbrowser in any way.
