Taste buds doing odd things...

Post by Chris Corbyn »

Every time I drink coffee for past month or so for some reason it tastes slightly salty to me :? I know it's not actually salty but it is kinda weird. Mayhaps I'm just noticing it because I'm concious of it now. Strange indeedy :P

maybe it's a change in the water supply? Many cities and/or houses use salt based osmosis filtration to "clean" the water. Some sodium stays in the mix afterward.

Could also be a biological change, from what I've seen, as we get older, our sensitivity to certain additives in things we consume can get heightened.
